Go to www.cephbase.org, and click on "Biogeography" on the left. You can search a number of different ways. I just tried the "Species in the Exclusive Economic Zone of:" and then selected Panama. It'll give you a list of all cephs. Gotta sort through them, but at least its some place to start.
well i went diving twice once in taboga which is about 5 miles off of panama city and did not see any octos. i will be diving on the carabian side tomorrow and maby i will see one there. but so far the only pulpo i have seen was the one on my dinner plate last night.
