Do you cry yourself to sleep for the lack of a flying squid? Well, stop it. The Japanese are here.

CLICK HERE for instructions on folding your very own flying squid paper airplane. The result is an extremely solid flyer that can travel quite far, given sufficient room. (The squared-off nose also reduces the likelihood that a family member or friend will be poked in the eye.) Attached below is an example of the finished product, slightly modified with down-swept wingtips. And eyebrows.

    Happy flying.

Clem, this is great! I know how I'll spend my next afternoon with my favorite 8 year old!

Neat! I wasn't sure how it was supposed to be a squid, until I saw your finished plane.
