      The Mr Inky depictogram is a self-conscious attempt to juxtapose post-modernist ideologies within the supra-framework whilst remaining within the context of the octopod bauplan and morphology. With an unknowing mocking aside to Voltaire and an obvious self-referential wink to Boelke, we can conclude that this ‘Child’s’(we, the viewer,) Octopus exists out of place and out of time, yet the emotion contained therein is eternal.
