Prep leading up to this trip kept me pretty busy, but it was worth every second. This trip didn't focus on cephs specifically, but we did see a fair number. Cuttlefish were abundant on the reefs, and at depth two big (I think senescent) squid, nautilus, and a small octo at 150m.

Scrolling down to March 9 posts- Erdi, Defi, Ronald and Elvis are a part of the larger CI monitoring teams with which I work closely- a talented and hard-working bunch. Elvis, a former lobster fisherman, is the most likely to join me on night dives looking for octopuses!

Any idea on how long before NatGeo releases the story? I want to see more
