I checked a few websites but I want to buy the octopus either pygmy or blue ringed in a local store does anyone know where can I buy an octopus in new york city?
I don't know where in NY you could buy an octopus, but I will strongly advise you to re-consider what species you want to get, especially if this is your first time raising octopus. Blue rings may look amazing, but they are rare to find in a store, they are a difficult animal for someone who is new to octopus, and (as I'm sure you are well aware) are extremely dangerous animals. I would suggest that Blue rings be viewed in a public aquarium, not in a home tank.
