he didnt choose anything, he was just a plain old sales guy, not the owner. i would admire him if he said he didnt think octos should be in aquariums or something for a factual reason, like he doesnt believe they make good pets, doesnt want people abusing them, etc. but he just wanted to argue with me and tell me im an idiot for "thinking" octos only live for like 3yrs max, he thinks they live for like ten. and in my opinion, a general coral frag the size of a cell phone shouldnt cost $150, it should be at least less than $90. also, the owner didnt even take the time to learn proper english and didnt even acknowledge his customers, he was doing stuff with tanks that couldve been done after-hours.
if i can find a bimac after the tank is re-setup at the school, i think i may try to get my old teacher to invest in her own protein skimmer so she can have an octo in the room again.
