Shocking sperm whale mass stranding, Australia

    Rather disturbing news, with 48 animals involved.

    We haven't seen a stranding like this in a very long time, and to the best of my knowledge no mass-stranded sperm whale event in New Zealand waters for several years.

    The article mentioned that they may just let nature take its course. Apparently the location is well out of human sniff range.

    Thats horrible. Im not suprised that they couldnt euthanize the whale though, theyre BIG.
