Finished first version of a first tiny octo-book, now fearfully waiting for a Dutch expert's opion (omg, what have i done) on my humble attempt at non-fiction about this many-armed subject.

Thanks again everyone contributing to this thread, because you all have been a terrific help. More is to come, so i'll be keeping this thread alive if I may for the second fiction book, perhaps less intensive, but there will be new questions, I am sure.

a couple of issues have arisen in revising my tekst:

1) does a tentacle regrow as easily as an arm? How much time does it take? A couple of months?

2) I've read somewhere (and at first even wrote!) that an octopus arm has thousands of suckers (even 2500???) but Olaf thinks a couple of hundred for each arm should be more than enough. Anyone ever counted?
