I had a boss from London long ago and he had the same problem with our use of the word "fanny". Seems it means a woman's front, not backside, similar to our use of the "_ cat" term. Thinking about it, many people wear fanny packs to the front so maybe the British term is not far off ...
Luckily, "hooters" is universal...hey, I meant the restaurant.
