you know the drill, guys. guess the fossils and win an abstract prize.
A looks like a coral, possibly one of those Petosky Stones.
The others, I just can't tell...
A - coral or bryozoan?
C - fossilized/petrified wood?
no guesses on the others...
A is a tabulate coral, possibly Favosites.
B should be Dendrostroma, an idiostromatid stromatoporoid
C is a horn coral with the outer wall missing
D, E, and F are calcareous algae stromatolites.
you gotta love how forest soil reworks fossils. some of my most interesting fossils come from the woods.
