I found this little guy on an internet rabbit trail and wondered if anyone had seen it before. It looks like it might be a dwarf with some very interesting coloration.

Huffard and Hochberg, arguing that Robson's designation of Octopus membranaceus as a nomen dubium was premature and considering it a valid name, resurrected the genus name Amphioctopus for the Octopus aegina species complex. Huffard and Hochberg also found Schizoctopus to be a junior synonym for Amphioctopus

Am I reading the little blips I found correctly? Is marginatus now a Amphioctopus and not just an Octopus?
