How many suckers do octopuses have? I suspect different a number for different species.

    How about cuttlefish?

The descriptions I have seen show a range and not a solid number (but the range and arrangement varies by species as well). Arm length will certainly impact the numbers but I have not seen descriptions that are more descriptive like x number of suckers in the first 2 inches or something equivalent that would be in proportion to arm length.

And one "deep sea alien"—Vampyroteuthis—only has suckers on a small portion of its arms.
