How many nidamental glands are there in a squid (Loligo duvauceli)

Larval Mass
I saw two pairs of nidamental glands (white) in my squid, the two pairs are extended upward and has attachment at the ovary. As I observed the specimen. the pair glands are not with the same sizes.

I wonder if the two attached glands were the accessory nidamental gland. As far as I know there are only two primary nidamental gland.

Colossal Squid
Loligo should have two pairs, the big ones are the nidamental glands and the small are the accessory nidamental glands. BUT sometimes there is a groove on the primary glands which can make it look as though there are two primary glands! Sometimes it is even split which is, I think, what you are seeing! J
