First pics of the little briareus (Little Pod)

    Here are the first pics of Little Pod. She was hiding in her den this morning, peeping out. The pics are enlarged - her eyes are tiny, and her mantle is only about 1 inch.

    Hi Nancy!

    That is soooo amazing!!! Little Pod looks great!!! Who would have thought!!! I am hoping maybe one of Rummlers' babies may appear one day. I was scanning the tank and I may have seen a few but am not sure, they're sooo tiny!

    Just remember, Carol, that I didn't see any sign of an octopus after the first week, and taken 4 months to spot my little octopus in a 19 gallon tank. That's so amazing!

    Hope to get some better pics - she was in her den during the day, which was why I could get these.

    The feeding stick scared her today and she went away to hide. I'm putting more shrimp out tonight.

    I forgot how little they can be, especially when we 've been dealing with our big lumps!
