Dwarf Cuttlefish Babies Eating Frozen Mysis

Pygmy Octopus
Aug 13, 2011
Our dwarf cuttle babies are less than 7 days old, but I decided to try feeding frozen PE Mysis. I glued fishing line onto a feeding stick like I've seen before and carefully threaded on a small mysis shrimp. Surprisingly, one of the babies went for it immediately. He had a hard time getting it off the line but didn't give up! It took another 30 minutes of trying (most of the time spent trying to thread the line through the shrimp!), before the next one bit. 30 minutes to feed 2 of our 16 babies!
