Final strike

The stomatopod landed one final strike to the mantle knocking the blue-ring into the water column.

Can a Peacock fully consume an octopus of this size?
No, only a few arms. This stomatopod would not touch the blue-ring except to strike. It kept cleaning its mouth parts suggesting to me that it was picking up some toxin.
