Octopus I posted about a few weeks ago, help please!

The video is from before I put him into the tank and he went into the shell, you can see his tiny eye in the hole in the pic!

I feel like it’s a dwarf even though the legs are long and it wasn’t sold as one excuse the dirty sink/dishes

Hmm.... I'm not great at this, but maybe O. mercatoris? Is he/she nocturnal? They are indeed a large egg species:
