would a briarus octpus with a head size of half a dollar bill, be too old

An average adult briareus, according to Cephalopods: A World Guide, will have a body about 5 inches (12 cm) long and arms about 24 inches (60 cm) long. How that stacks up to dollar bills, I don't know. Also, live octos are very difficult to measure.

oh ok , i didnt know the briarus get that large, i thought they stay smaller than the bimacs , but i was wrong evidentally

is bimac the only species you have kept nancy?

How big a tank would you have for the briareus? It would be quite comfortable in a 75 gallon tank.

I've kept O. bimaculoides (bimac) and O.briareus.
