Vortech MP10 with Dwarf Cuttlefish?

I know you should cover the intake of all powerheads but I was wondering, can I use a Vortech MP10 with Dwarf Cuttlefish? Tank will be a 28 gallon JBJ Nano-Cube reef. Will I have to put a sponge cover over the Vortech MP10 or no? Thanks in advance!

Yes you can. It would be safer but you probably don't need to.

I kept mine with an MP40 with the sponge on, but they never went right up to.
