I'll be meeting Tom on Monday to get the octopus. not sure of size but Tom says he thinks it a Briareus, or long arm as he calls them. It does have some amputations which is why Tom did not have it listed for sale.

Tom gets his animals from crab trappers and that season ended on April 15. So this is the last Octo for the season. Traps wont go back in the water until August for lobsters; however, it takes a month for the lobster traps to "season" so Tom does not expect anymore octos until September or October when the crab seasons starts back up.
