I recently got an octo. But lately I have noticed that skin flap like things have been coming off his suckers. Is this a bad thing if they are coming off or is it like he is shedding or something? Also if this is bad how can I fix this problem?

Thanks:confused:

They shed suckers occasionally, shouldn't be a problem. Usually every few days I see dozens of sucker discs floating around the tank.

Will the skin flaps from the tentacle suckers pollute the water with ammonia or any other harmful thing if some get stuck under a rock and I don't notice them?
