Hi everyone,

I was just wondering the following.

I know an octo lives shorter when you keep it warm. but would it harm them to keep them cooler?

My tank doesn't have any heating. in summer temp is 23-25°C but in winter the room and thus the aquarium cool down to 20-21°C

should I install a heater? or will the octo do just fine? it's an animal caught in indonesia

I don't know if temp fluctuations would harm the octo too much, but indonesia, in general, has a fairly permanent water temp...being close to the equator and all...I would install a heater to keep the temp the same as where he has been doing well...
