Tell me what this is

I got a general idea, i know its a ammonite ceplapod just want to know more about it, just happen to be walking and saw it laying in the dirt so i carried my lil ceplapal with me. its decent size well at least i think so, good 18 pounds. so if someone could tell me more about this lil guy please do

i found it in fort worth tx, happen just to be walkin in a feild and just walked across it just chillin in the ground. so i picked it up and brought her home. but heres some better pics.

Spiral shelled fossil found in central Texas?

This possible fossil is in a Texas state park I frequent daily.

I just realized I haven't scaled it for you, but it is probably about 2 ft across. I can take a pic with scaling on Monday if you'd like.

I overhead once that it was a fossilized shell of some type, but I can't remember what it was called.
