Tank Dimensions

I'm aware that an octopus needs a large volume of water. I'm trying to find something ~100 gallons. But I find no mention of the dimensions (heh, that sorta rhymes) necessary. The reason I'm worried about the dimensions is because the 90g tank on craigslist I'm eyeing is a scant 15" wide!

Is there any validity to this worry?

The 15" is not a problem for most that are suitable for a 90. You can improve on it by keeping a section with no LR in the back but my octo aquariums are only 13" wide and have LR over most of the tank with plenty of places to hide and make dens.
