sexing fish

Each species has a somewhat different way of telling the sexes...in general, look for a heavier bodied, shorter finned fish to be a female...if you are looking into trying to breed these fish, I would pick up some books on the subject ( I know there is a plethora of info on breeding clowns)...
Captive breeding is difficult at best, but the rewards are worth the pain!
Good luck!

Especially with clowns the females are normally about twice the size of the males and to get a pair just buy 2 small ones and grow them up!

It's that easy.... one will change sex from male to female!!!!
