That reminds me of the Octopuses I see at the local "fish market" laying on the ice...I look at THEIR eyes and they fit the EXACT description to what the eyes your octopus looks like...its weird. Mabye it IS old age...I mean the eyes are muscular, almost closed. And it looks all shrunken and TIGHT. Mabye when an octopus dies the muscle looses its force and it just loosens up when its dead...I would most likely say its probably an injury cause if it were old age...wouldn't the other eye go just as bad?
