Possible Bandensis tankmate: Asternia starfish

I dont know much about starfish at all. I was setting up a Bandensis tank and my live rock produced a colony of about 10 asternia stars. All are about 1/4 inch across. I know they are usually safe for a reef tank, but did not know about a cuttlefish tank. They are eating algae and there is a surplus of it. Any reply is appreciated. Thank you.

Where I am it had been sub 30 degrees all winter and then the day they appeared it was about 55. You think they could have "thawed out." There are now also bristle worms. One is about 4 inches long. Could a big one harm a baby cuttlefish?
