It was a good thing they caught these great shots at the surface! At depth would have put a real damper on Ku's expedition but this should help keep a public interest. :wink:

those are really great pictures. would it be okay to post them on my site? The Colossal Squid is an interesting creature . It is funny that the Giant squid are often featured in maritime legends and novels such as Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. You'd think there are more tales of these creatures, I guess they stay in the deepest parts of the ocean and don't come up unless they are dying.
