Here's a fine Early Jurassic coleoid, Phragmoteuthis conocauda, 20 cm long from the Toarcian of Holzmaden, SW Germany.

Gills are sometimes visible in specimens of Phragmoteuthis, but I can't make them out in this example.

I like it too - especially the crown of ten arms with hooklets. The ink sac is there and I think I can see gill blades on the left hand side.
