older article on Dosidicus in Northern California

as long as I'm posting, I'm not sure if we saw this Dosidicus one a few years ago, but I recently found out it was written by an old friend of mine (although it's credited "Staff" somewhat to his annoyance):

The actual author is Ryan Masters, who I prodded to possibly drop by sometime...

Thanks for correcting this... in fairness to Ryan, he only had a momentary annoyance, and said he didn't want to make waves about it; I just wanted to let people here know that he wrote it if he participates in the forums, but if you're going to be frustrated at meddling, blame me, not him, please.

Oh, and to TONMO! And I hope you're not hit hard by the fires.

Thanks for the welcome and pointing out the error. AFAIK that story is still very popular, we want to be sure credit goes where credit is due.
