    And weird critters make food for octopus (giant pacific octopus). Cormorants, other diving birds, wolf eels.

    GPOs' eat wolf eels? I would have thought the eels would pick on the octos, even a good sized GPO.

    One of mt friends found a Go-Pro camera in an octopus' den litter. Makes you wonder. I found a dive flashlight once in den litter.

    They have been known to steal things in an aquarium as well. Feeding sticks are prime booty but we have had them covet baster bulbs, pipettes, toys and cleaning wands in addition to offered trinkets. Cameras seem to be of particular interest mentioned by divers and I wonder about reflection from the lens, particularly if there is a UV filter.
