Now, this escapes me... Even GPO's don't attain these sizes, and judging by the thumbnail, colouration of the remains suggests something else, altogether, like Tremoctopus. Faulty reporting at work, here? The Bahamas do harbour the legendary Lusca, but a 20 foot Octopus, for real? I don't know... The other one, previously collected, is of a weight category that points towards Haliphron atlanticus, more than anything else. Yet another contender?
