I have a 12 gallon cylinder that is set up like a lagoon habitat. If I can get a lid fashioned for my aquarium I'd like to set up a small group (3-5 animals) of octopus mercatoris. Has anyone found any of these guys on the Texas coast or in a live bait tank at a bait shop on the Texas coast? If so, could you list where it was found? I've heard that cephs can be found occasionally at bait shops.

You might google and find some aquarium clubs along the coast like Houston or Galveston and ask on their forums. Just a suggestion.
