Octopi Wall Street

I seem to go to something about sex scandels that wants to "load" a version of Adobe (that I should already have). I suggest this link is problematic at best and would recommend NOT uploading the "needed" software

Denise: When I click on that link, there's no problem, it takes me directly to Articulate Matter. However, I did experience a similar problem to yours when I posted the link on Facebook -- it took me to a warning page that said the link was "abusive"; but when I clicked on the "ignore warning" link on that page, it took me directly to Articulate Matter. My theory is that either the link has been hacked by someone who doesn't like the sentiment, or censorship is alive and well on Facebook and certain browsers. If you still have the problem with the hyperlink, try typing the exact URL into your browser, as follows:

http (colon, slash, slash) articulatematter (dot) com (slash) comic (slash) 2011 (slash) octopi (hyphen) wall (hyphen) street (slash)

nope, this time I get a naked girl (it is being redirected) on a toilet

Weird, very weird -- I haven't had that problem at all. I'm using Firefox; so perhaps the site could've been hacked on another browser. In any event, I'm going to try emailing Justina with the form on her blog to let her know that some people have been misdirected to porn sites when trying to access Articulate Matter. A pity, really, as her site is wonderful.

Update

Apparently the email form on Articulate Matter wasn't working either, so I just posted the following notice on the Articulate Matter Facebook page:

Firstly, I LOVE the "Octopi Wall Street" cartoon! I shared the link here on Facebook and on TONMO (the online cephalopod community I belong to), and I've even used it as my profile image -- with attribution, of course. However, some people told me that when they click on link or type in URL of that cartoon, they're repeatedly misdirected to an offensive site. I use Firefox and don't have this problem, but some other browsers do. Please check this, as links to your blog have apparently been hacked.

Hopefully she'll get the message and look into it. Meantime, I will try sharing the Articulate Matter Facebook page with you and some of the other TONMO people on FB, as Justina does a lot of cephy cartoons.
