that is one long arm! anyone know what species it is? or have any other pictures?
Where is it from? Several long-armed octos live in muck- do you have other pics and maybe we can narrow it down?
i can't find the site i got it from, but i think it's from the lembeh strait.
googled long arm octopus lembeh and found a few pics but no sp name. maybe it's like the hairy octo and still undescribed.
This should be the site you're referring to? It states the Philippines as locus; I'll go a googling
Status report: not much luck, we'll have to stick to Octopus sp. for the time being... I wonder who so far has looked at indo-australian octopusses as a speciation model, forget Darwin's fiches, here come JC45's octopusses
