New Octopus Coming to School!

Teacher Kim

Sep 7, 2012
We are so excited that I just couldn't wait to announce that we are getting a new octopus! It will be here tomorrow afternoon. It's coming from Diver Tom in Florida and his educated guess it that it is an Octopus Briareus! He said the mantle is about 1 1/2 inches in size.

The children were very sad about Ziggy's passing. :( It took them at least 2 hours before they started asking if we could get another octopus! She is currently in the freezer and they are having a great time taking her out and looking at her! We will be burrying her on Monday...... if there is anything left of her! :) Next post will be the start of a new journal! Yay!!
