New ocotpus. Identify? Anyone?

Caught this little guy today 16th Nov. Im planning on keeping the little guy but, i don't know much about octopuses or little about them and what they eat.

As a matter of fact, i dont even know what species the little guy is.

This is from Maldives.

Unfortunately the picture does not give many clues. Most octos diet will consist of shrimp, crabs and shellfish. Some will eat fish, most will kill and eat parts of fish if they find them annoying so it is best to keep them in their own tank. Have a look at the Posts with Info for New Octo Keepers thread for some generalized basics of feeding and tank mates. The curled up arms suggest he is stressed (to be expected). Can you approximate the arm length compared to the mantle?
