I am currently awaiting my new arrival. My tank is 75 gallon with 20 gallon sump. It has been running for 3 years with soft corals, small fish and 2 octopus at different time. Water temp is 69 degrees, nitrate 20ppm, Ph 8.2. Picture of tanks attached. The smaller 30 gallon tank next to the DT is to house my live feeders from the Long Island Sound (Crabs, Shrimp, Feeder fish, etc...).

No, have kept o. Briareus, 2 Hummelincki and a mimic 10 years ago. I have always wanted a binary, and this opportunity arose. I have thought about going to San Diego just to catch one.

Well, my new bimac arrived this morning and “Oswald” (kids named him/her), is doing great. He acclimated for about 4 hours and it gave me a good chance to play with him in the bucket. Loved the drip-line and my fingers. He also ate a crab while still in the bucket. I have since put him in his new home and have him in a breeder box that he can get out of on his own. I want to thank Tonmo for making such a wonderful creature available to me. I have always wanted to keep a Bimac, having kept 3 other species in the past and would have had to wait until I could make it to SanDiego to catch one myself. He is in fantastic shape.
