Hey guys, I intend to get a common octopus, I know you can't be 100% but hey, thats what they said theyd get, so we can live in hope. But i'm not sure what size tank i need, iv got my eye on a 300L tank (79 US gallons.) Is that big enough.
Thanks.

Welcome to TONMO, @Allthatjas!

In the past it seems consensus has been that a proper vulgaris should be kept in 125 gal minimum, 250 gal best.

As you note, "common" is commonly mislabeled, depending on source.

You're encouraged to use our search feature to look at past discussions from our resident experts and hobbyists (try search for vulgaris tank). Good luck and keep us posted!
