x-posted from discussfossils.com but hey

This tiny ammonite was found in the chalk west of Eastbourne.

It's incredible worn and differs from the other finds, including ammonites, which appearing only slightly darker than the sourrounding chalk.

It was only when I got the macro lens out and took some shots that I could see it was an ammonite! I couldn't detect the sutures with the naken eye.

Does it look complete ? Or can bumps on the keel area be preserved from inner whorles ?

I wont even ask for it to be ID'd
