So my friend and I want to get a cuttlefish or two. We were gonna get eggs, but it sounds like feeding the hatchlings would be an expensive disaster for us.

I've read that eggs ship better than live cuttles, but i was wondering if anyone had firsthand experience. Can anyone give me a rough servival rate or something? I think these things are tank raised/bred, so hopefully they'll be more hardy.

Eggs ship well, and hatchligs ship well. Adults ship poorly. Most important, you rarely see anything but eggs or hatchlings for sale so you'll prolly hit the feeding issue either way.
