Large Humboldt Squid Beak up for auction!

Wow, the beak reminds me of the Alien head from Alien (1979)!

On the other hand, it seems comparable to the largest suggested by Steve O'Shea for Collosal squids (49 mm Rosrtal Length?); or am I just missing something.

BTW I've heard Humbolts can get up to 13' which would make a monster as far as I'm concerned. What is the largest scientificially verified specimen?
