Nice collection, Jean!
Ohhhh....Could we all have fun with this one!!!!
Great collection Jean!!! I even have some of what you have!!!!!
Sweet collection, though the trolls scare the hell out of me.
Jean, you have some great stuff there. I have to agree with Nick, though--there's something not quite right about some of those trolls...
Now what's wrong with trolls???? After all they're the guardians of the NZ Rainforest Nautilus. Without their careful nurturing those wonderful cephs would be extinct!
wow...my studio is so bland compared with that...will have to invest in more octos!!! :D
Great shots...looks like a healthy work environment...
Anyone who has a fossil ceph on display can have all the trolls they want
Your desk is so well-decorated, you must spend a lot of time there.
yup! 5-6 days a week!
What's your job?
PhD Student in Marine Science, and aquarist/educator in our university's public aquarium and marine education centre!
Very nice collection you have there, Jean! 8)
... but wait until Steve-O finds his digital camera!
It's grown of late, hasn't it TTF; mind you, Jean, there are a couple there that I've never seen before.
I'm relocating office soon and I'm going to have to condense the sprawling collection into a more confined space. Then again, Lady TTF is moving too, though she doesn't know it yet :P , into a clean, new space where we can keep a watchful eye on her (you know, make sure she's working properly). A few more months and there should be a ton of new papers ....
What really intrigues me, Jean, is what is in the specimen jar on your shelf?
Blue shark teeth!
