i am getting a 40 gallon reef tank for christtmas and was wondering how mant cuttles i could keep. Im really into sepia bandensis and have hadone before. could i put a mated pair in there? or maybe a trio
 
That would probably good for 3-4. But by reef tank what do you mean? As in reef ready, or full blown reef? Some of the corals in a reef tank will sting and cause damage to the cuttles. Also, they will most likely eat all the fish, crabs (except hermits) and shrimp...
