I think this is Octopus filosus?

I would make the same guess but the give-away eye spots are not clear (I THINK I see one though).

As an aside, Octopus filosus is currently (with a lot of back and forth objection) listed as Octopus hummelilncki and we have opted to use that name for our journals. If you want to research the animal further, look for both names.
