Octopus fishermen claim that the Government should pass economic measures for this type of fleet, such as those set for vessels catching hake and blue whiting.

Interesting that the article says "octopus fishermen" want quotas set for guidelines. If this is really the case, it is troublesome that they see enough of a decline to be concerned but a positive note that they believe regulation helps.
