My friend is painting her car and wants to cover the fenders in old timey anatomy drawings of cephalopods and other wonderous marine creatures. Example: I'd like to put out a request for a few more such images. Any marine life works, but cephalopods are especially welcome. So far the car's got a contemplative looking octopus loitering on the hood. EDIT: could a moderator move this thread to the proper sub forum, I mistakenly placed it here...
Welcome! Try to lay your hands on "Artforms of Nature" by Ernst Haeckel (Amazon has it). There are pages and pages of wonderful scientific illustrations of mostly marine life, including some cephalopods. Plates from the book can also be found just with a google image search.
For her purposes, the Dover book Sea Life might be good. Images from three centuries, some real, some fanciful. Nancy
