Hello everyone,
I have been lurking on the facebook group and occasionally here for several years now. With TONMOCON being so close by I have decided to come out of my octo-den and attend.
I first fell in love with octopuses and other cephalopods while working at the New England Aquarium as a volunteer and eventually part of the vet lab staff between high school and college. I went on to get an undergraduate degree in environmental geology and then start my career in environmental, health, and safety consulting. For the past 15 years I have been working in medical software engineering, but my true love has always been marine science.
I look forward to meeting some of you at TONMOCON and flexing my scientific arm neurons.
All the Best,
Jason
