Hello I am IkaMusuko and I am a squid enthusiast. I'm currently in secondary school, and also go to a vocational school for computer networking. I plan on going to college where I also plan on getting a major in computer forensics and either major/minor in marine biology (some time down the line I want to be a teuthologists and any help with requirements would be helpful).

Our Education and Employment forum has occasional posts for opportunities for intern work. Most are at the college level and there are occasional high school opportunities. You may want to follow that forum to see what is likely to be available as you progress in school.

We just completed our sixth TONMOcon and the talks are available on Youtube. The agenda of topics and speakers is here with the time links below.

We anticipate TONMOcon VII to be held in 2017 (traditionally they have been every 2 years, alternating east and west coasts) at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, CA.

You may enjoy watching the Octopodium summer intern videos by @Taollan (octopus research on the changing oceans). The vblog won our bi-annual Monty award for a member advancing cephalopod education.

Here is a Giant Squid dissection performed by our New Zealand cohorts (@Tintenfisch - Dr. Kat Bolstad, @GPO87 - Aaron Boyd Evans, @Heather Braid ).

We also have a Facebook presence you may like to follow for current ceph news and current items of interest.

Our News page often has ceph-computer related topics that you might also find interesting.

Hi @IkaMusuko
Welcome to Tonmo! I am currently working on my phD as a Teuthologist, so if you have any questions about the process, just let me know! I'd be happy to share any hints I have!

Thank you I'd make sure to send a PM later.
