Great visit from fellow Cephalophile

    Just got home from showing Architeuthoceras and a friend of his through the collections (mostly cephs of course) at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Scienc. They got to see quite a bit, such as the time allowed, and as I understand, plan to return.

    I'm sure you'll be hearing more, along with pictures.

    If anyone else plans on stopping by, drop me a note and I'll make arrangements.

    Thanks for the tour Nauti-guy, just like heaven. 1st pic; Me and Nauti-guy, 2nd pic; Cabinets full of fossils, (how else would heaven look), 3rd pic; Type specimens of coiled nautiloids, 4th pic; type specimens of a few Orthocones.

    Wow, :notworth:, I would love to spend a week (or month or so...) drooling over those fossils. I would like a closer look at the cross section of the Endocerid endocone.

    me too! We teach a class in the geology department and I have to restrain myself whenever I'm in there!
